Washington Mutual just called. Updated they called back..

I have a phone screening at 2pm today. Whats a phone screening?

Update.

She said she is going to Forward my info onto a manager. I should hear back from them within 5 business days. The HR computers are down so she couldnt tell me what she has open.

I would say basically to make sure you are properly qualified. They don't want to waste their time or yours, so its sort of a preliminary interview. Fear not!

I asked for a teller position. They called me to sell Mortgages I went and sat through this huge group interview with guys in suits ties and briefcases who graduated college and worked for big banks selling mortgages for nothing. I told them after the group interview that I didn't want that kind of a job since Ive never worked in a bank and have no idea how banks even work. And a mortgage im clueless

She said someone will get back to me about a teller position. I just hope this phone thing today is for a teller position.
