Wasted $750???

Ok so I was SOO excited to go to the jeweler yesterday to get my groomsman and bridesmaid gifts. (16 items total). I LOVED the groomsman gifts. We got them flask sets. BUTTT the engraving came out HORRIBLE!! It was hand done but POORLY done!! It looks like someone took keys and scratched in the initials!! FH says we can take it somewhere else to get it fixed but thats MORE money!!

To top it all off, I got 8 jewelry boxes also engraved. I hate the engraving and to top it all off, the jewelry boxes are not what I was expecting them to look like!! Its extremely anticy - very nice box for those that love the style but just not my style and I'm not sure if my bridesmaids would like them. I never saw them in person, just a catalog from the jeweler. I guess that was my mistake.

So maybe I can get the groomsman gifts fixed, but the bridesmaids gifts??? What can I do with 8 engraved boxes?? I can't just sell them because they have initials in them?!? I don't want to lose $350 on an already tight budget! helpppp

i would still give them as gifts. if you act happy about giving it, they will act happy about recieving it

as for the flasks, sorry it looks bad...but pair that with a bottle of liquor and the boys should be okay.

for the girls, maybe some of your BMs would like it..i would still give it

No I probably should have. We had taken them home and noticed after the fact. They have horrible customer service as we later found out and FH and I just don't want to deal with them anymore.

i would call and yell at them!!! even threaten them with filing something with the BBB, that usual gets peoples attention.

$350 is alot! I would complain until you get new ones!!
