show ended normally, nothing about his death....
But after the show was over, showed lots of different clips wiht John and people in the show....most individually..hugs, kisses, love, etc.....and at the end he 'waved' with his pointy finger and said something....the exact words slip my mind right now...
Then it showed his name, birth & death date, and then the words: We will never forget you.

When he was waving goodbye is when I lost it. He was such a great actor. I loved him in Felicity as well as this show.
