watched 'Something Borrowed' last night....

and it actually made me really upset

anyone else get affected this way?

i was like really mad at the ending

yeah, I felt the same way. It's putting a positive spin on cheating, and it's unrealistic. I mean some times it does work out like that, but none of us newlyweds and brides to be need to be seeing this

i haven't read any of them, so it was a total shock to me

i just couldn't imagine doing that to your best friend regardless of what you SHOULD have done in the past with the guy you were secretly in love with

What I didnt like is how they portrayed Kate Hudson to be the villian but really - her best friend slept with her fiance!!

I actually liked the book (the name escapes me right now) that is from her perspective better. Its basically the same story but I really hated that they made Jennifer Goodwin's character seem like the victim.

I loved the movie, but I thought the book was way better and illustrated why the cheating happened....not that it was ok...just showed Darcy in a more negative light

Yeah...the movie wasn't as convincing as the book. The book gives more character development and Darcy is truly awful. Granted, I hate to see cheating.....but Darcy stole all of Rachel's boyfriends.

i was cringing every time they talked about their torts class people shouldn't have to suffer through law school! that was my worst class!

omgosh me and FH went to a redbox this weekend and we were looking for a movie to watch and i was like oooh lets get something borrowed not realizing what it was about i thought it was just a wedding movie.. and thank god he didnt wanna see it and chose unknown insted! lol
