does anyone have a suggestion on where the best place to get a watch is? I want to get my FI a movado or bulova watch for the wedding

NO! You can do much better than Macy's or Fortunoff's they charge FULL price. I got my FI a Movado SE Silver/Silver face with the dots on the band.. it sells for $975 in those types of stores. I got mine at my local jeweler for $575!!! That's right $575. that's a huge savings. Try your local jeweler or the diamond district I will guarantee you will get a much better price than the dept stores.
