Water side receptions?

Water side receptions?

Any suggestions for places that would be by the water? North or south sure, but not too far out on the island, and around 90 bucks including ++

I've called a few places but they all have a 100 p min, I need someplace that can do smaller, like 50-75?

Thanks

You may want to look into the Waters Edge in Long Island City. Friends of mine got married there and their wedding was toward the smaller side. It is really a beautiful place.

I don't know anyone who got married here, but Sunken Meadow Beach (LIE exit 53, north shore) has a really nice place for a more casual beach wedding. It is one of the Lessings places.

Our reception was at John Anthony's, and I highly recommend you at least call them .. but you should definitely take a ride over for a look. They were the one and only place we looked at .. we went out for a drive one day, just to see where it was, and what it looked like from the outside .. then I begged then-FI for a look inside .. and eventhough we had no appointment, they treated us great. We were and still are thrilled with our choice, and since our special day, they have been wonderful with extra 'requests' we've had. By the way .. all the food was awesome!

What about the Riverview Restaurant? This was my second choice. They have a 100 min...but since we were in April...a little off season they lowered the minimum to 75 people for us. However...they only do weddings on Saturday afternoon...because they close the restaurant so that you have the whole place to yourself.

ETS: We were quoted $65pp plus tax and grat for April.
