Waterfall veils

Waterfall veils

Well, I had always envisioned myself with a proofy full veil. I went for my hair trial today and then tried my dress on. I am now doubting my full waterfall veil that I have. I am wondering if it is now TO full. I am stressing alittle and was in tears also. Can you gals post pictures of you or brides with full veils, so I can get an idea on hair dos and just to see how they look? I think I have a full face and with the proofy veil I now feel it is making my face look heavier. HELP please!

I don't have a pic, but dont worry...worse comes to worse you get a new veil... it's not that crazy to stress over...

I know how you feel. I think the veil I got is too poufy as well.

How do you want to wear your hair?

Are you going to stick with your veil or buy another one? At this point, I am thinking of either taking my veil to someone to remove a layer, or just buy a new one. I am so confused. Now I do not know if I want a waterfall veill or a different one.

I had a poofy veil and then decided I wanted my hair 1/2 up so I bought a new one. I'll post the pic of it. I am wearing in the back. I'm sure either will look great!

MarcellaBella, Thank you! You are too sweet! By the way, did you ever post any of your professional pictures from VIP. I am using them also. I would love to see them.

Valentinegirl, if you could post a picture of your veil, being that we are doing kind of the same hairdo..I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks everyone!!!

Thanks for the FMs misty and valentine. Annemarie, I love the way yours look. Is that elbow length? I have fingertip, and the problem is you can not see one bit of my hair from the back. I think I want to remove a tier. I am going to post pics for you to see.

Are you wearing the veil for the reception too? I wasnt too worried cause I am probably taking it off anyway after the church. Removing a layer might help you.

Re: Waterfall veils

Valentinegirl, I wanted to keep it on. I already had my headpiece sewn to the veil.

Oh, very nice. I was gonna take mine off. Isnt it hard to decide what to do w/ hair and veil? That was my hardest decision and I am still unsure. I have way too much time on my hands.

Hi- I had only one layer and a blusher. It was fingertip length though and light ivory. I had it velcroed to my tiarra and did take it off for the reception.

I hope I don't sound too ignorant, but what are Waterfall veils?

Re: Waterfall veils

A waterfall veil is when it starts on the top of your head, verse having the veil to the back. I just posted pictures of my hair trial with the veil. I will bump it for you.

I'm not sure if I should stick with it or not. I just feel like my head is HUGE with it on. It is the poufiest (not sure if that is even a word) veil I have ever seen. LOL!

FH prefers the natural look, so I am afraid he will be horrified if I walk down the aisle with such a big head!
