Waterfront Catering Halls - Long Island

Waterfront Catering Halls - Long Island

Hi all - any suggestions for catering halls by the water?
My preference is Nassau county or western suffolk, eastern queens. Having about 125 - wanted the per plate to be in the 85 -100 range and want something semi formal. So many of these places look like the 80's, wanted a huge gurantee or have such a high price! I know i'm asking a lot here lol

I have visited the Riviera and really liked it - but haven't tried the food yet and heard that the food wasn't terrific.

Didn't like: Giando's, Water's Edge

Don't want Chateau La Mer, The Venetian, Windows on the Lake

I love Crescent beach club - but I think it's too expensive.

I have appointments next week for Lombardi's on the Bay and Lessings at Sunken Meadow Park.

Are you willing to get married on a Sunday? Crescent Beach Club is 95 dollars/person for Sunday weddings... it drops 90 dollars a person from a saturday wedding.. crazy, but beautiful!

did you look at Bridgeview Yacht Club??

We wanted to do it on July 4th - Im in love with fireworks and unfortunately to contract someone it costs about $900 a minute of fireworks.
Actually someone just told me about BYC...I'm gonna check that out too, thanks for the reminder

I would definitely try and get a quote per person at CBC.. its really beautiful there, and being on the water and the fourth of july.. no need to contract someone for fireworks, you will be able to see them going off all over!!!

FH and I plan to book LOB and I PROMISE you that you wont be disappointed with them! Theyre amazing! The room is STUNNING (if you like the glitzy sparkily kind of feel). I worked with Albina but shes based in Villa Lombardis in Holbrook. I'm not sure what the womans name is that gave us the tour at LOB...

ETA: FH and I are planning a sunday / off peak wedding and LOB is around 95/pp.. I would def still check it out and see what they say.. I do know that they charge like 15/pp more for their waterfront locs tho... Those views are SO worth it tho!!

I'm booked at LOB! I really love it there! I'm not gonna lie, they haven't been the best with customer service but they do put up a top notch wedding! They're always nice but not always super responsive but I still recommend them! The room is so elegant and beautiful and Lombardi's is known for their food :) Good luck!
