Re: Waterfront Reception
There's a couple of waterfronts:
Atlantica Lands End Bridgeview Yacht Club
I'm sure there's more!
Some golf:
Carlyle on the Green Carlton in the Park
Good luck!

Re: Waterfront Reception
I'm getting married at the Vanaderbilt Mansion which overlooks a the Great River.
There is also John Anthony's, The Harbor Club, Port Jefferson Country Club, and The Bayview House at Captain Bill's. There's more, but those are all I could think of right now.

Re: Waterfront Reception
Here's another waterfront I thought of AFTER I signed off last night!
My vote would be for the Riviera but thats where i am getting married,. i heard John Anthonys and Port jefferson country club are all suppose to be nice. i wasnt crazy about Sans Souci, its not what I would consider waterfront its across the road from the water. FM if you have any specific questions.

Re: Waterfront Reception
We are having our reception at The Harbor Club, in Huntington. They have a beautiful waterfront location that overlooks Huntington Harbor. Food and service are GREAT! And they only do one party at a time!

Re: Waterfront Reception
I vote for the Port Jeff Country Club...you'd have the best of both worlds with spectacular waterviews and a golf course. There's a beach, too if you want beach shots (we didn't go to the beach that day). Here's some of our favorite shots:
If you want just golf course, the Hamlet WindWatch has a really pretty course. Search for posts by Michele31 - she was married there, and her pics on the golf course are gorgeous w/lots of color and fall foliage in the background. Good luck!

Re: Waterfront Reception
I thought the Pt Jeff CC was not taking any dates for 2004 - something about them losing their lease to the town? So not sure if this would even be an option for you.

Re: Waterfront Reception
I heard Spiliotis Catering lost their contract with Port Jeff CC over failure to fulfill some contractual obligations and that's why Port Jeff CC wasn't taking any 2004 reservations as of yet - because they haven't filled Spiliotis's Catering vacancy yet. He is the reason we did not book with them even though the club itself is absolutely beautiful. I am not surprised he lost his contract, if that is indeed what happened.
