It looks really pretty, I'm wondering if Chateau Briand would let us 'switch' to Watermill since they are both owned by the Scotto's... I like the grounds of the Watermill better... I gotta call and find this out.

I loved the Watermill. I looked and researched a million places and never heard a bad thing about them throughout the whole search. They were more money then the other places I had planned on and seen but just a little more, and the amount of service, food etc that I got made up for that. I liked the personal attention they give you and they cater to your every need...Good luck..I would suggest going there for a tour if you have not already and really think about it...weigh the pro's and con's before switching...
Would you lose money doing that or are you hoping to have the money transferred between sites??

Just wanted to let you know when I went to the watermill I asked them if they were a scotto brothers CH. The BM told me that they were not affiliated with the Scotto Brothers that own fox hollow, westbury manor or chateau briand. He said they are from the same family but that the owners of the watermill branched out on their own and created the scotto family catering business. I would inquire with the chateau about the switching of deposits because they are not owned by the same people.

My IL's did a vow renewal there this past summer and it was beautiful!!

I also have to say that my MIL has lung cancer and they were going to re-new athe summer before when she found out she had to have surgery. The Watermill was so accomodating to them that it was really a pleasure to do business with them. I recommend them highly
