About one month before the big day. But since I was having menu cards made, I called Glenn (my BM) and asked him if we could meet earlier to do it, which gave me plenty of time to have the cards proofed and printed. I even faxed him a copy to check!

I think we did it in Jan--end of Jan.

And PS: You get a letter in the mail telling you it's time...but I had ants in my pants and called before the letter.

My appointment is to finalize menu is this Saturday...wedding is the 26th of August. So basically roughly 6 weeks prior to wedding.
