For all you Watermill Brides, I was hoping you can help me something. We need to choose a hotel for our guests to stay at. However, we like the idea of having a shuttle service and a bar in the hotel. Can anyone give me some suggestions. And if you did use a hotel that did not provide shuttle service, is it costly?
Please let me know Thanks!

Re: Watermill Brides
I believe holiday inn express offer a free shuttle to watermill. But I don't really like the place though.
I booked courtyard marriott recently. I like the room and very clean but they don't offer free shuttle to watermill.
good luck

Re: Watermill Brides
There is a Holiday Inn right on 347, however the one on the service road does provide shuttle service to and from the Watermill for your guest that stay there. That is what my FH and I did. If you call the hotel ask for Racheal and she can set you up with all the details.

Re: Watermill Brides
I choose the Hyatt Windwatch it is about 5 mins from the watermill. They were great. Call & ask for Connie & tell her that Corinne recommend her--she was one of my favorite vendors. They have a bar which they extended for us. The only thing we had to provide our own shuttle service but the rate was $115 but I think it has gone up but I thought it was better than my guests spending $169 a night at the Holiday Inn Express (that was the price when I was looking). The Hyatt is a 5 star hotel on a golf course. We ended up getting upgraded to a suite & Connie was a doll---totally recommend.

We blocked rooms at the Islandia Marriott and are providing our own shuttle service from Alert Bus. The rate we got was $99 per night. If 10 pple book then you get your suite for $99 as well!! There is a bar but it closes at 1 am but there is a Hooters next door.. I think there is a bar in there.

I'm trying to figure this out myself. How much does it cost to provide shuttle service for guests if it is not included in the hotel?

Check out Alert Bus - www.abatransporation.com
I think I am paying $750 for 2 round trips from the reception to the hotel...

Re: Watermill Brides
i wish the holiday inn express that they recommend had a bar in it! FH and i really can't afford to pay for a separate shuttle for our guests if we put them somewhere else. that price for the islandia marriott is great.

the holiday inn express off of exit 57--the ONLY hotel that the watermill recommends...yeah that one does NOT have a bar. i think the holiday inn express on 347 that is closer to them does...but they offer no shuttle!!!!!
i checked out the one off of the LIE..and its nice...but no bar! what are my guests gonna do?!

Re: Watermill Brides
I blocked rooms at the Hyatt in Hauppauge and dealt with Connie who was soo nice and professional. The rate is 139 a night for our guest, which I thought was good for that hotel.
