watermill brides?

I will be there and I think 7:15 is fine. I am a Garden City Hotel bride but my cousin is getting married at the Watermill in May and I am a BM!!

I'm a Watermill bride!!!!!
I did sign up to go to the showcase but forgot that I am working that night, i'm so upset about that, but I know that they'll have another one prob. the beginning of the summer!!

Happy to be a watermill bride ...Im going to the showcase with another watermill bride as well......never been to one of these before ...but i dont think comming lil late is gonna be that much of a big deal.....plus depending how far your wedding is from now ...there may other showcases around that you can attend. ive been to the watermill showcase already, i am a watermill bride...

if ur there at 715 its okay, just make sure u sign in at the table when u come in and get ur raffle ticket!!

vendors are all over the place and around 8ish or so they start letting u downstairs for the DJ showcase n prize giveaways, so you're fine if ur a lil late

and for those of u who can't make it to the March 4th one (i can't) there will be one on April 2nd (Samantha, the wedding coordinator, told me at our last meeting)

so ill be at the april2 one!!

yes me too!!!!!!! she made me feel sooooooo comfortable and relaxed b/c she let me know that im so ahead of schedule and got so much done already that i can breathe for a bit now! i felt so much ebtter after meeting w/her

cant wait to see her again!

Okay, FH and I went to a couples seminar at the Watermill. Open bar, passed CH upgrade goodies, cheesecake martinis, etc. Met their recommended vendors and Samantha really walked you through everything. Well, we make an appointment to see Samantha after the holidays before hearing an awesome band (not in our price range, but oh how I wish!!!)

So, as FH and I are walking up to the door we pinky swear that we won't sign any contracts. We agreed to look at 3 other places and named them. Samantha is extremely apologetic that she didn't call the night before to confirm our appointment. I said, no problem, we've been looking forward to this and wouldn't have forgotten about it. She said that she tried all sorts of combinations of my last name but couldn't find us in the computer. Know why? Wanna take a guess? Only brides who have booked are in the computer. Soooooo the seminar we were at was for people who have already given them their deposits!!!!! Holy cow...FH and I said, gee, if this is how they treat people who's money they already have...we need to really, really consider this place. So we sit down with Brian. We were in there for a little while and it came up that I HATE those mini coctail weenies at weddings. I just have a hang up that they don't belong there. Anyway, he picks up the phone and makes a call. Up comes a silver platter with their version on pigs in the blanket. OMG it was like a hot dog sushi roll. That worked for me! So, out he goes, in he comes with a number, I make a phone call to my BM in Myrtle Beach who works in catering. We ended up booking his birthday (2/13/10).

Sorry it was so long but I hope this made sense.

We just booked this weekend ...my fh and i just fell in love with Bruce he is amazing ...and Samantha is a doll we are meeting with her next monday..but spoke briefly with her when he booked gave us her home number already to call anytime....(bad move missy , bet she wont be doing that anymore after my wedding lol).
Like i said in other post we looked @ 5 other places but the min we did our walk around @ the watermill i was hooked.

ur all making me even more excited!!!

the ONLY RH i went to was Watermill, with FH, my parents, and FMIL...ALL 5 OF US FELL IN LOVE from going in and seeing the lobby, to doing the tour of our room, and the outside area, and then sitting with Bruce and all the food n drinks he brought up, and just EVERYTHING there was NO question, I didn't even care to look at any other RH...

AHHH I LOVE THE WATERMILL :)

yay i love this thread cuz there arent too many watermill brides on here so u dont read as much about it!!

LoL thats soo funny, Fh said the samething to me. Obviously we were both really excited but of course I was showing it more and he was like, if they see how much we love it we aren't gonna be able to bargain much with the price because they'll know that nomatter what we are gonna book it.
