Watermill Brides- Hotel Block?

Where are you blocking rooms? The closest is really the Holiday Inn in Hauppauge...

Do any of these provide busses or shuttles?

I chose the Holiday Inn Express because it was the only hotel of the surrounding hotels that included a shuttle with at least 10 rooms booked. There is also a simple continental breakfast included in the rate. They can, at times, be difficult to get in touch with but just be persistent!

This is probably your best bet since its close and they offer shuttle. Good luck

I'm planning to use the Holiday Inn Express for the free shuttle

I checked with all of the hotels that Watermill recommends plus some. None of the other hotels included the shuttle or breakfast the next day. At some of the hotels the brunch could get pretty pricey and you needed to guarantee a certain number to be in a private room. The hotels were all within +/-20 dollars of each other, except for a few. Most hotels will recommend shuttle companies they work closely with but again they weren't included anywhere except for the Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn will provide as long as you have at least 10 rooms booked. Good Luck!

We're using the Hampton Inn Islandia. We also checked out the Holiday Inn Happague, but the rooms were so much nicer at the Hampton Inn, having been renovated only 3 years ago.

Oh, and it has a free shuttle and free breakfast with 10 rooms booked.

I will try to find the information on the other hotels if I still have it. Give me a few days. I did not look into the Hampton Inn in Islandia that a poster above me recommended. May be worth a shot if they offer the same things!

The Holiday Inn Express that Watermill suggests is the only one that has a shuttle from the hotel to the venue for guests, but be aware it is right next door to a ATV range. the dust from next door travels right across the parking lot. Try the Courtyart by Marriot - they re-did the lobby in 2010 and are renovating all the rooms now - manger says they should be finished by June 2012.
