We just did our menu selection at Watermill for our wedding, and the manager looked confused when he saw our menu said 'choice of 10 hot chafing dishes' for the cocktail hour.
So this made us wonder... have they changed the number of guaranteed chafing dishes? Anyone been to Watermill recently for a quote or recent booking know how many chafing dishes they are promised?

which menu did you choose? You must have the same one we did - the estate menu? It looks like they don't have that one anymore on their website. Everyone is still talking about the cocktail hour, make sure you get your 10 dishes.

i feel like our choices may have changed as well at my venue. online it seems like it did but i havent compared. we still have the original menu copy (or 3... lol) so we will have to bring to discuss

Yes - our menu is the Estate Menu. We definitely got our 10 dishes :) but his reaction was so strange, I figured I'd ask. We booked about 16 months ago, so I guess we got lucky!

When we booked the estate menu had just come out, that was summer of 2010. Guess they change their menus every 2-3 years. He was probably suprised to see a contract that had the estate menu still on it. I always think that the CH is the best part of a wedding, thats why I loved all the choices on this menu. You will not be disappointed.

I think a lot has changed since we all booked. Lol. We got the gold package and when I was in the office the other day making a payment he said the prices don't even exist anymore!
