we were originally going to block out rooms @ the Wyndam. not very practical for us, but I think that I want to stay there anyway. what about you? by the way- loved your engagement proofs!!!!

I think we're going to stay at the Holiday Inn where our guests are staying- we plan to save on the room on our wedding night and put it towards the honeymoon.

I blocked rooms at the Sheraton in Smithtown and we also plan on staying there. they have deals with the Watermill. We are having a brunch the next day there and they gave us a good deal on room prices!!

After researching,

I think the holiday inn would give the best rates to our guest. I also wanted to stay at the wyndam but didnt want my guests to have to pay too much so we decided it be best if we can be with our guests at the same hotel as well.

I blocked off rooms and I'm staying at the Courtyard by Marriott in Ronkonkoma. They don't offer a shuttle, however, I thought that they had very nice rooms. They have a restaurant and a bar in the hotel and the staff is very nice. I liked the wyndam, however, it is very pricey and they told me that the don't take reservations until 1 month before the wedding date.

I didn't see the holiday inn, however, I heard really good things about that hotel as well.

I am just in beginning stages of looking for hotel. I only have 2 or 3 out of town guests, so I doubt I will get any deals with the hotels. So just looking for a hotel for FH & I.
