Is anyone using the hotel reccommended by the watermill, the holiday inn express. I was considering it because of the shuttle, but I don't know. If not, what hotel are you using? Thanks!!!

Re: Watermill brides.....I have a hotel question
we opted not to use it--only because they don't have a bar. our wedding ends at 5 p.m. and we want to head to party with our OOT guests at the hotel bar after wards!
we're using the hilton garden inn, islandia. gave us a pretty great rate. (but then again, we're in feb. so it's not that busy)

Hey, we're using the Hilton Garden Inn too! I think it's closer to the Watermill than the Holiday Inn Express and nicer too. We also got a great rate!

See, this is our big debate because while that hotel has the shuttle and will get the guests there on time, the Watermill is about an hour away from where I live, so I'm unsure if it makes sense for OOT guests to stay closer to where we live or to the Watermill.
I heard that the hotel is really nice, though. You also can't beat an open bar and a free ride home!

yeah, we can't decide either. We live about 45 min away and the wedding ends at 1 am so we need some place close to the watermill. Does the hilton garden have a shuttle?

As far as I know, they don't have a shuttle. My Dad is arranging a bus for everyone staying at the hotel - I know he got a quote from Regency and Rich from Sir Oliver was also helping him out with that.

We booked the Holiday Inn express. We were pricing our own shuttle and then the guests could stay at the Isandia Marriott (they have a bar) but the shuttle was way to expensive and just not in our budget.
We stuck with the Holiday inn and we rented a banquet room downstairs for the after party.
