Watermill Caterers Brides?!

Just wanted to see if anyone else is getting married there in 2011. We're having our ceremony + reception there on April 30th. Can't wait!

My reception is at the watermill in the Astor Room I just love this place, have you dealt with Samantha what a wonderful person to work with she is awesome....

Woowho! More Watermill Brides - was getting worried that they weren't out there.

I haven't had the pleasure of dealing w/ Samantha yet - but I'm sure I will be chatting with her soon.

Tastings?! We get to taste the food before the wedding? (I'm such a newbie, so excuse the question if it's silly in the least bit).

When does the tastings process happen. Deb your wedding is much closer to mine (I'm in April) - are there any other things I should be doing now that you're aware of? We're going in on Saturday to discuss some things, but wasn't sure if there were specific things that had to be done now.

Time sure does fly, I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed like I'm missing things that should be done already.

Were going their on Tuesday to sit with Samantha to order our invitations. If your sitting with her Saturday she will guide you as to where you should be and answer any questions you have utilize her the to the fullest she doesn't mind....

Don't know what you have done already, but I have a dress, my girls have their dresses, we sent out our Save The Dates a while ago, we have all our major vendors book, church booked.

Still need to find a make up artist, get shoes, order favors. tuxedos, and Bridal party gifts don't know what else i'm forgetting but I know it looks like alot but everything will get done.

Not sure about the food tasting at the Watermill from time to time they have showcases there where you can taste the food, I was curious about the bakery they get the cake from I will have to call them to see if they do tastings we want to make sure we get a good tasting cake....

Sounds like you have A LOT done, and the fact that I'm only a little over a month after you, I'm getting a teeny bit worried! But I guess since I just found out I'm getting married on April 30th hah, I'll use that as an excuse!

I'll make sure to ask them about the cake tasting, that's also important to us.
