Anyone else skipping the chapel and getting married at the Watermill??
Do you know what the policy is in the event people who are not invited to the wedding....want to come just to the ceremony? Can this not happen since we skipped the church option?

Crashing...I am a Watermill bride but I am not getting married there. But I don't think there would be any problem with someone coming to your ceremony only. The only time that Watermill really will care about a true count is when everyone is sitting down in the reception room. You technically pay per plate, not by how many people are at your ceremony. I have heard of people attending a ceremony at a RH but then not attending the reception for one reason or another. If your worried, call them-they haven't laughed at any of my questions yet! And I have had a ton! hehe

we asked right before we booked..and we were told that people can come to the service and the cocktail if you want and you will not be charged. all they care about is the reception on who gets served dinner.

I have some parents of friends who I wouldn't typically invite to the reception... and also I'm a teacher- and debated on invited my class to the ceremony. Definetely would have if it was at the church...........
