Watermill - HELP

Hello all, I am thinking about having my wedding at the watermill. I need some advice, I live in the bronx. Would it be too far out for me? I think the place is so beautiful and the price was not bad either. I haven't been there yet, planning on visiting next week but wanted some advice if I should go that far out. Ceremony would also be held there.

I would say it would be fine, but if you have a TON of people coming from queens, they may find it inconvenient. But It definitely wouldn't stop me!!!

I am not a Watermill bride but if you love a RH that much then go for it! It is your wedding day and since you will be having your ceremony there to, your guests only have to travel to one location!

Good Luck!!!

If that is what you like and want why not. Nothing should be too short. Don't sell yourself short. Good luck. Let us know how things go.

i would say def. go for it. i have people coming from all over (brooklyn, connecticut, jersey) - there are hotels nearby if they want to stay the night, plus if its a place you love, then you should do it.

It's a very nice RH. It is a bit far, but if you like it, I say go for it!

If you visit it and you absolutely love it ... go for it. Dont settle for something just because it is closer to where you live. If you do it will be in the back of your head throughout the whole wedding.

If you are really worried about distance ... rent a room with your BM's, MOH, or parents so that your closer to the establishment and your with your family. That is what I was thinking of doing with my wedding.

You only get married once! Do it wherever you please! No distance too far

you can't skimp on your hall--if you LOVE a place...and can afford it...you shouldn't settle for something else.

remember---people who truly WANT to be there for your big day, will find a way to get there! if you save some $$ on the WM, maybe you can use some funds to set up transportation in like a bus or two, round trip from the bronx to the watermill...or something.

i'm a watermill bride btw--so i'm biased. but i would definitely visit it and see how you feel and that will help you determine your decision!
