Waterproofers?

So we finally realized why the people we bought our house from moved after living there only 2.5 years....the basement floods.

Can anyone recommend some reputable waterproofers?

we met with a bunch of slimy company reps in new jersey. the experience was dreadful as they want to sell you the sun, moon, stars, etc. all for the great low price of 35K!

they will try to scare and oversell you. whatever you decided to do, whoever you use, my advise would be to research, research, research as much as you possibly can!

we wound up with a temporary solution (my father installed an updated sump with a backup system in place) and may have to regrade our back lot as water collects because the drainage is poor…
