I just started looking at places this weekend, and the Water's Edge really made an impression. It looks gorgeous but my worries are the area it is in (warehouses?), it's a bit pricey, the idea of moving all guests out of the cocktail room - around the corner and back into the same room for dinner... and I haven't tried the food. Anyone with an experience there, good or bad, please let me know what you think!! TIA

Omg I love that place if I could get married there I would have but it is pricy! we actually never checked it should have ? But I think its amazing the view is wonderful noone will be noticing the warehouse once the see that view!!!

i LOVED it there. we were going to have the cocktail hour downstairs and then have the reception upstairs. i really really loved it. but the bridal suite and bathroom situation was a deal breaker for me. GL!!

hi! i absolutely LOVE water's edge! it's the restaurant that FI & I always go to for very special occasions because we love the food. it IS on the pricey side but totally worth it - food-wise. the location isn't really that nice BUT people will not notice IF they used the free ferry ride from the city to the place. If they have to drive, then they'll see the not-so-nice location going to there.
i've attended only 1 wedding there and the only downside that i saw is that the bridal suite and restrooms are tiny!

Agreed on bridal suite--it is small but if that isn't a major concern (I didn't care how big it was--I'm getting ready at hotel), then its not really fine.

ive been to a few events at the waters edge...... and i love it!!!! grant it the location could be a lil better, but the view is to die for at night. and as far as i remember the food was good too. i looked there for our wedding as well, and i know its a lil pricey, but if u could afford it i say its a great place!

Why don't you check out Giando's on the Water? Same spectacular view, and the surrounding area is a lot nicer. :) Water's Edge was my second choice though!
