WAVE HILL IN RIVERDALE

Hello everyone,

I am trying to find an reception site for my 11/06 wedding. after some search I found wave hill. I would like to know if anyone is familair with the place or have been there before for a reception or dinner.

I am in love with it, but not the price but i was wondering if anyone can recommend something similar. I live in Harlem and my church is here also, so I don't want my guest driving to far especially with the LIE traffic on a saturday.

How about the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx? Same kind of setting, but less expensive. Whereas at Wave Hill you have to pay that huge fee to become a member, you don't have to do that at NYBG.

I grew up near Wave Hill and it is a beautiful place as is the Botanical Gardens.

There is a place The Riverview that is up in HAstings ( a bit past Yonkers) with the same view as Wave Hill. Not an estate like that.

I know someone that got married there about 6 years ago.

You know what place is BEAUTIFUL with amazing food........Harvest on Hudson. (in Hastings on the hudson)

We went to a party there and they had the cocktail hour outside and then we moved in for the dinner.

Great place

Just thought of it- check that one out
