We just bought the wax seal from michaels and found it veryyyyyy difficult to use! It just kept coming out messy and sloppy, which helped us come to the conclusion that we are going to consult with our invites designer and have her take care of it. Or, knowing FH, he'll find someone on etsy or something that will do this for us.

I got the ones that you put in a glue gun!!!!!!!! They say to first do the seals on a mirror if you have not done it before. I made all of mine on a mirror, so I didn't have to throw away any invites and they turned out fab. I premade all of them ahead of time, so all I had to do was glue them on the invites. I got my sticks and seal stamp from here.

Were you able to mail them with no problem? My FH wants this but we read somewhere that the wax seals cannot be mailed, they have to be hand delivered...not sure if that is true or not

i bought an H monogram at michaels for like $6 and instead of wax bought silver sparkle hot glue to seal the envelopes... everyone said it was a nice touch
if you get the sparkle glue do not buy the cute glue guns buy the ugly and cheaper blue high heat gun.. i ended up going through 3 of the pretty (crappy) ones

Not true. You are able to mail them with the seals!
mine were mailed with no problems and i had a wax seal
