Ok so I have been thinking of the best ways to ask my bridal party. I have some ideas like asking my MOH -- Getting her a picture frame with a special saying in it--
Bridesmaids im still up in the air about. I would love to do all picture frames but thats gonna cost alot. I was thinking T-shirts-- or even the Cookies-- Im so torn --
If anyone has any suggestions to throw at me i would greatly appreciate it.
I have a Max of 8 Girls and 3 Jr Bridesmaids--
3 JR Maids are 16,10 and 10 MY reg maids are in there 20-30's
Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
I was just trying to figure out how to do this as well!!! I saw a cute idea for something else on the BHB board and figured I could use it to ask the girls.. On personalizationmall.com, they have heart-shaped glass ornaments that you can personalize with whatever writing you need. I was gonna use '______, Be my bridesmaid? Love, Eunice 09/01/2013'.. A little costlier than other ideas but I'm using it with their x-mas gifts so it works out. =) I've also seen some girls bake dress-shaped cookies which was pretty cute as well!

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
I just did poems and at the end asked them to be my bridesmaid. I then invited them all over and we did a potluck dinner. They all got to meet and it was nice to have all my close friends and family together. I have pictures in my album of the poems. I have a MOH and 7 bridesmaid I did not want to spend a lot of money.

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
Well, we are having a small engagement party in March with just 30 people - our bridal party and our immediate family. I am going to have 7 bridesmaids and 1 Maid and 1 Matron of honor. I am doing boxes...I white photo boxes at Michaels - on sale this week by the way 6 for $10. I then made Stickers from 8.5' x 11' sticker paper and printed the attached picture on each with each BM's name of course. So each box says 'BM Name, will you be my...' and inside the box is a rolled up fitted t-shirt in the color of the dresses that says 'Bridesmaid' in rhinestones (bought iron on transfers), a small tin circle box with a personalized ornament that I made, and makeup totes that say bridesmaid on it filled with a pedicure set, manicure set, small bottle of biosilk and a lipgloss.
Each BM box cost me how much?? The prices are in each... Box (Michaels) - $1.66 Sticker for box (staples) - $1.20 T Shirt - $5 (old navy sale) Bridesmaid iron on (etsy) - $2.80 Ornament tin (Michaels w/ coupon) - $1.50 Ornament & paint (Michaels w/coupon) - .75 cents Bridesmaid makeup tote ( Michaels)- 1.99 (used 40% off coupon) Mani kit, pedi kit, biosilk and lip gloss - $4 ($1 sale at Ulta) Ribbon to tie the box - 50 cents
Total $14.40 each box!!! I should start making these for people! LOL I will put them up once they are done!
That's A great idea too. And a way for me to spend Alot of money. I have all family in mine.
I'm going to your album! Ty so much

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
I did those ornaments (stole it from my other friend) for some!!! Then me and my 3 best friends have grown up together since 1st grade so there are LOTS of pics...I made little picture books from SnapFish and put a bridesmaid poem in the back. Pretty cheap - (with a coupon) they came to like $4

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
I asked them each individually (7 BM & 1 MoH) Then I had them all over one night without saying why. I decorated my house with black and hot pink (the colors). I gave them each: ~black tote with their initial monogrammed in hot pink ~individualized poem in a frame ~shot glass that reads Thanks for taking a SHOT at being my BRIDESMAID (or MAID OF HONOR) ~a bridesmaid handbook ~a personal card to each about what our friendship means and how honored I am that they are in my bridal party

Re: WAYS OF ASKING BRIDESMAIDS!!!!
For mine I mailed them each personalized cards asking them. My cousins live about an hour away so getting together, especially this time of year, is really hard. I didnt want to ask some in person and some through the mail so I did everyones the same. They all thought they were so cute and loved them so it worked for me! I found them on etsy!
