wc...guess what we did today besides go seal watching???

we saved a dog! i thought of you. before we went to go seal watching, dh went to warm up the car. then he sees this dog wander into the yard. this dog is super friendly and so he comes over to dh. i come out and we walk around the block and knock on all these doors and NOBODY knows where this dog came from. at this point, we need to leave for the boat, but we call up dh's parents and they tell us we can bring him over and they'll hold onto him. the dog has just one tag and it is the rabies tag. we had called that number and nobody was in. so we take the dog in the car. he is soooo sweet and calm and super friendly. we get to his parents house and take him in the back yard. he starts marking the whole yard. we leave and after we call his parents. dh's dad said the dog snuck out of their yard too and he had to go search for him. but he finds him. so then he says that he called the number on the tag again and the vet there says thta she will be at the pound on pulaski road tomorrow and to take the dog there and they will be able find out who the owners are. dh's father was impressed with the pound and charlotte caught a peak at the dog and just wanted to play. anyway, that was our rescue story for the weekend! poor dog. he was so sweet!
