We are all moved in

Yesterday was a looooonng day! The movers came Friday night to wrap the furniture and then came at 7am Saturday to move us. My parents and sister in law helped us unpack and hang up blinds etc. One bad thing is that our brand new box spring for the queen size bed does not fit up the stairs!! So now we have to get a queen size box spring that folds? I've never heard of it but my neighbor had to get it too.

My cats were totally freaked out and hid all day, finally coming to find me at 1:30am after we had went to bed! And good thing they woke me up bc when i went downstairs to feed them, my 40 gal fish tank filter was leaking onto my brand new wood floor in my LR! I had to wake my DH up to fix it. Turns out the filter was off balance. So now I am unpacking and getting settled. Took the week off from work to do stuff around the house.

that's so much fun....well, not the leaky filter, or the freaked out cats, or the box spring.....but the feeling of walking around and thinking...'this is our's'....

congrats! They sell a split box spring for Queen size beds. It looks like two twin bed box springs. I have that for my queen sized bed.
