We are closing on the first part of the construction mortgage today.

But the mortgage guy messed up and never applied 15,000 of out of contract expenses to the budget that he was supposed to. So we need to pay 15,000 more, and then wait 2 weeks to get it back.

We could have postponed the closing but since the builder has done so much work already, he os owed up to like the 7th payment on the schedule, and I think he will flip. And with the holidays, who knows when we will close!! I can't wait to this is all over!!!

When is the house supposed to be done?

Noone has told us, and we haven't asked!!

We figure they tell you what you want ot hear, and we have no legal recourse if it is late, they will blame it on weather. But they finished the roof yesterday, the plumber is done iwht the pipes, the electrician started yesterday, and they are almost done with the siding, so it is moving very quickly.

That figures, I would be anxious for a ball park date if I were you. I'm inpatient like that

Christine - i am so impatient, but I am afraid to ask, I will be disappointed if we don't move in on that date.

This has taken so long to get them to start building, that i have been living with my paretns for a year and a half!!!
