I AM SO HAPPY!!!!!! Craig just recently started working independently, and he's doing so well that we've decided it's finally the right time to get a dog! We are looking to get a Rottweiler (purebreed only!) and I can't wait to bring home our little fur baby!!! We have a call in right now to a breeder in MA who is expecting a litter soon, so not only do we get to take a road trip, but we might bring home a little bear pup too!! We've already named him too :) I love Lord of the Rings, so I thought Gollum would be a cool name for this doggy :) Please keep your fingers crossed for us, we are so excited about getting this puppy!! I'll update once we hear more about it, but in the meantime - here's a pic of what these lovely pups look like - I hope ours will be just as adorable!!!

OMG - Pugs are my favorite dogs too!!! same deal here though - Craig doesnt want a dog that can be stepped on... His exact words were 'I want a big nasty dog who will both play and protect' I'm tired of him always wrestling with me anyway - now it's the dog's turn!

I love those doggies, I have one to hes a year now, but we got him when he was a baby, they are the cutest pups!!!!! his name is Titan, and he thinks hes a lap dog, little does he know he weighs 120

that's so funny :) glad to hear the feedback! I've never had a dog before, and I think I'm just a little nervous about what to expect, will he be a good doggy, what do I do with him, etc... LOL - I sound like a first-time parent with all these questions! Any advice for a soon-to-be rottie mom? Thanks
