We are getting a puppy... (repost from Newlywed Board)

I posted this on the newlywed board, but I realized some of my friends I always share pet stories with are not on there yet, so I wanted to share.

Here is our little girl. We get to pick her up on Dec 7th. She is so cute. Currently her name is Candy, we might keep it because its so cute. The breeder said its because she is sweet as candy, which is so true. What a sweetie pie she was. I wanted to take her home so badly.

She is the same bread as my family's dog Cookie, who is still hanging in there, for those who remember she is sick with heart disease.

OMG - she's so cute!!!!! I think the name Candy is adorable too - perfect for a Christmas time arrival - Candy Cane!

Thats kind of what I was thinking. We had planned to name it Parfait, because my family had a Truffle, Cookie, Ginger, Muffin so we thought sticking with the food theme was cute and Jay is so into ice cream so we thought a french style ice cream was perfect for a French Dog. But Candy fits the theme to and its such a cute name. I like the Candy Cane idea.

Papillon

Here is my family's Papillon as an adult, kind of an idea of what Candy will look like full grown only she will be more brown (sable) and white, with a little bit of black.

Cookie, above is on the large end of the breed, she is about 10 lbs. My other family dog who passed away about a year ago was 4 1/2 lbs. full grown.

O M G !!!! That is the cutest thing EVER !!!!!!!!!!!
I want him! Too bad I don't have time for a dog or it would be a kennel in my house.... Love puppies!
