As we were driving to the lawyer's office I got close to the double yellow lines to make a left into his parking lot. Some IDIOT decides I was taking to long to turn (Hello, it was still slippery and I was being cautious!!!!) so he cuts me off.......but on the driver's side!!!!!!! MORON!!! As I was turning he tried to pass me by and I ended up hitting him becasue of his IGNORANCE!!!! WHO THE HECK PASSES ON THE DRIVERS SIDE with oncoming traffic!!!!!!!!! So we pull over and he starts some story about how he didn't see the blinker and whatever. I said we can settle this now b/c it was your fault or we can call the cops. He says it's his word against mine and so I DEFINIETLY called the cops. Of coure he gave his side of the story and it was crap and then I gave mine. The cop decided it was undetermined. UGGGHHH!!! Then he says, 'Sweetheart I have a Mercedes and you have a Honda, Let's see who they believe' .... THE NERVE!!!!! I said I really don't give 2 craps what you have or who you are, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS, Have a nice day. Then I get to the Lawyer's office and he cracks some joke saying 'Hope this isn't an Omen'. Ummm, Sir, I didn't find that funny. After this whole ordeal, we signed the contract and he will let me know when we close. I'm stressed but happy.

Sorry to hear everything went bad, but good. I hate when people with upscale cars think they rule the roads. Who the *ell do they think they are??

Karina first off I am so happy for you!!!
And this jerk--what insurance does he have? Call the insurance companies right away. If he has Geico you can take your car to get an estimate from them. But call you company asap and give them your side of the story. Don't let him get to them first. FM with the details on the accident. Sorry this happened to you.

Thanks ladies. No one was hurt and there was omly minimal damage to my front bumper (from when he decided to cut me off ) I filed a claim but i have t wait to be contacted by an adjustor on Monday. I won't even think about him anymore. We are waiting for a closing date now. So far so good
