Ok, yesterday we went for my sono. Everything is perfect. My husband and I didn't want to know the sex of the baby. We were looking forward to being surprised. Can you believe the sono tech told us just like that. She was like are you ready it is a boy. Our jaws just dropped to the floor. Dont get me wrong we are very excited. My husband is thrilled he will have his son. I was not that surprised because I had a feeling since day 1 that the baby was a boy. But we are a little upset that she took that moment away from us. So FYI make sure you tell the sono lady right away if you want to know or not. I guesse for the next on we will be surprised.

That really is So NOT RIGHT, I was so parinode about that, I made sure I kept saying it, The Tech was great, BUT when the Dr. came in he kept asking questions and saying how he know what the sex was!! whatever.
I am so sorry that spoiled your surprise, If you didnt ask I can image why they would say it or even be checking that area.

Sorry to hear they spoiled the surprise...our techs were always very careful to ask if we wanted to know before they did or said anything so I'm surprised to hear this tech did this!

Congrats on your boy i would of been so mad if i was you! we kept saying we don't want to know real loud. they where all surprised that we didn't want to know because now a days i guess everyone finds out.

When we went in for the sono the first thing my FH said right after meeting the tech was we don't want to know the sex.
You can't really blame the tech though cuz these day pretty much everyone is finding out what they are having I have 4 friends that are prego and they all found out what they are having.
IMO I think it takes the fun out of it. I don't know if I would want to know for my second one when that happens

I can not stand when they do that. They did that to me when I was pregnant with my first son. I didn't want to know either and they just came right out and told us. I was Pi$$ed!!!! I wanted it to be a surprise.
