We booked!!!

FH and I went to VYC tonight, for the second time. We loved it since the first time we saw it, but we wanted to see all our options first. We decided to see if we could book April 24, 2009, but it was already booked. So we wanted to see what else was available and now we are getting married Sept 13, 2008 and now I have so much planning to do. I am so excited, I never thought we'd be getting married in Sept especially since this Sept my Grandparents will be married 65 years and 13 has always been a lucky number for my family. When I called the church and they had the date available I was almost in tears, between ordering my dress, and finally booking our favorite catering hall and our church all in the same weekend. I'm on cloud nine. I just have so many phone calls to make and I have to make up new Save the dates, but wow, I'm getting married in 5 months!!!

That's great! I'm glad you took the plunge and went for an earlier date. A work friend of mine started off thinking sometime before the end of the year (engaged in Jan) and then they had to go for July for their place! Yay for spontaneousness. I think you will be more rational about keeping things reasonably in check because of the lack of pondering/perusing time that sometimes is a killer!

Thank you everyone!!! I am so excited and so glad I have my LIWedding girls to help, I have so much to do in 5 months
but I'm sure it'll be all fun stuff (I hope)
I think FH is more excited then me, he's loved that place since the first time he stepped foot into it. He's like glowing. We were up all night talking about it. So exciting and so exciting to share it with you all.
