We Booked our Honeymoon!!!

I am so excited, we booked our honeymoon today 10 days on The Tahitian Princess cruise lines and got a mini suite!! On the way to LA we are going to spend about 5 days in Beverly Hills, I am so excited, and the weirdest thing is that they booked it under my new last name. Just had to share.

Congrats! That sounds like a wonderful honeymoon! Just make sure you have your passport ready under your new name by the time your wedding comes.

Will you have your new passport and other importanent identification in your new name? Just asking so it won't be a problem, alot of brides just leave all reservations in their maiden name when traveling outside the country and change it when they get back when they have their marriage certificate.

we're taking the exact same cruise - leaving on 10/30/2003!!!!!!! we're staying in tahiti for 2 days beforehand. our travel agent from Cruise One (vendor on this site), just came back from the cruise and said it was awesome!!! i can't wait to go!!!!

just read the rest of your post - how did they book it under your new name?? are you taking your HM right after the wedding? you won't have a copy of your marriage license so soon, what are you using for ID???

Thanks for the advice. My Fh is a teacher so we are going locally on a mini moon , and then 4 months later we are going to Tahiti, so my name will be changed by then on all my IDs. I am so excited to hear of anyone else going on this cruise. FMIL is going on the cruise 1 year before us, but I would like to hear it from a honeymooners perspective first.
