We booked the airline tickets for honeymoon but....

So we booked the tickets for our honeymoon to Hawaii...we booked it for the afternoon after our wedding.

Now we are second guessing it and thinking we should wait a day. HELP....I dont know what to do. We can still change it but we have to do it soon.

I had the same problem, and we decided to wait a day. I want to be able to relax and spend time with my family. We are getting married sat and leaving mon.

I would say that if you can both get out work for the extra day, WAIT!!! It just prolongs the honeymoon as well as gives you time to rest so you can fully enjoy Hawaii!

If you can I would wait the following day. TRUST me you will need it, especially if you are going to Hawaii, in which you probably could sleep the whole way there. But it is nice tio have that next day off to just relax, and go through your gifts

I would definitely wait, if possible. You want to be able to enjoy the next day with family, friends, especially out of towners. Also, how can you see pics and post reviews if you are away??? Good luck!

If we dont go Sunday...and decide to go on Monday then we will loose a day in Hawaii. Think it is worth it????

NOT WOrth it if you have to loose a day in Hawaii! Better off being tired, you'll sleep the whole 12 hour flight!

Thats what we thought Kathy but everyone keeps telling us that we should leave Monday.

We wont get to the hotel until 2 or 3am and then have to leave for a 1:30 flight that afternoon....we know we will be tired but hey we will be in Hawaii!!!

People were also saying we might want to stick around to recap the wedding and talk to people...also go through gifts....i dunno....

GO On Your HONEYMOON!

If you weren't going to loose a day in Hawaii, I would say definately wait a day, but towards the end of your vacation your going to wish for just one more day.

to be quite honest, whenever FI and I travel, we always end up pulling all nighters the night before (doing stupid sh*t, cleaning the house, getting instructions ready for parents to take care of animals,etc), and we just sleep the entire plane flight and then we're fine.

I think you'll be fine. It's not like your leaving for your flight the same night of your wedding!

You're also a super-organized person, just have all your bags packed like the day before the wedding, or heck, a week before the wedding.

Have you decided where you'll be staying in Hawaii, and how long are you going to be there?

we are waiting a day - well, kinda - we are getting married on a sunday and leaving at 6am on tuesday....kinda early but at least we'll be there earlier!

We should be getting home from reception around 1am..our flight is at 630am that same morning..We didnt want to loose a day either...I know I'll be tired but I rather leave right away and enjoy

We are staying at the Four Seasons in Maui and the Hyatt in Kuai. Just can't wait...you are totally right...we are keeping the reservations for Sunday!!

OH I LOVED THE Four Seasons in Maui! I have tons of pictures, you've probably seen them already posted on here.

You'll have a blast! Everyone I know who's been there has always run into a celebrity. When I was there we ran into Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas.

My girlfriend was there, she ran into Kelsey Grammer and his wife....

My cousin was there, he was in the hot tub with Ozzy Osborne!

You'll have to let me know if this trend continues!
