The woman we were dealing with, I wont say her name but it was at the Rego Park branch, was very rude and abrasive. She called me at work last week and told me she found a great deal on airfare but that we had to give her the full amount by 3 pm.... It was 2:15 and I work til after 3! As does my FH...LOL.. and there's been a number of comments that were just rude and unnecessary!
SOOOO long story short, FH called her and after 2 weeks of no quotes (unless we ran to her in mid day, the day she called) we cancelled..lost our $50 deposit but don't even care because we are currently in the process of booking with TRAVEL TOM!! ! and instead of going to Italy we are actually saving some $ and going to HAWAII
Neither of us have ever been ( I have been to Italy) there so we are super excited.. and Oh..TRAVEL TOM IS AMAZING!! We were on the phone with him 2 nights ago til after midnight, he called us back within 48 hours with a great $..
I HEART TRAVEL TOM! and now understand why he gets such amazing reviews on here!

We are currently working with Tom also. We haven't booked but looking forward too very soon b/c the wedding is like 65 days. We are just so excited and confused at the same time. I really hope Tom works us a miracle soon. We just need to pick a destination and just stick with it!

Yea one night she called me while I was at the gym, so Im talking to her in the locker room and it turned out she made a mistake, booked flights for 2 weeks but only looked at hotels for 9 nights.. so I said ok add two more nights in Sorrento are we good now (Im delirious from jumping off my spin bike to make sure she didnt get voice mail because she BUGS out on the voice mail asking, 'where are you? did you cancel the wedding?..which I do not find amusing, call me crazy) and she responds, WHAT CANT YOU COUNT?? OF COURSE NOT WE NEED AN EXTRA NIGHT..
I actually apologized explaining how I was in the locker room and could barely hear her..lol I got yelled for not counting and I teach math, I should have cancelled right there and then!

Yea she is! At first, i thought it was just her culture because she was not born here (thats all I say to be PC) but after my FH speaking with her and confirming it was not just me and then me crying because IVE NEVER had such a difficult time booking something, FH immediately came on here and found Travel Tom's number.. Bada Bing Bada boom 2 days later, its all done!
