I would like a classic song, but not one that you hear at every wedding you go to, you know? I don't want any song that came out recently, but something that's been around for a while. I don't mind oldies if they are good classics.
FH and I have considered a bunch, but we're open to fresh ideas.
We need to decide soon!
All of 'our' songs are modern songs that we have heard on the radio since being together, but we want something more classic that will never go out of style for the first dance.

Our wedding song I haven't heard anyone use before. Everytihng I do I do it for You, by Brian Adams. Or you can look up on the internet, a generic search for love songs. That should bring up a list of all loves songs, weather they are popular wedding songs or not.

I'm having the same trouble!! 'At last' by Etta James is a fave of mine but it's used by most brides! I'm planning on asking the DJ's as we see them. Internet searching didn't do much for me so far...good luck and keep us posted!

I'm not sure how 'old' you're looking for since people's suggestions have been what I'd consider newer songs. I'm partial to 'It Had to Be You', but that get used quite a bit. I've seen it once. I also like 'At Last', which someone else mentioned.

What about something classic-like Sinatra... my sister's wedding song was 'Fly me to the Moon'...but there are a bunch. 'what are you doing for the rest of your life' 'world on a string' 'I get a kick out of you' 'someone to watch over me' 'love is here to stay' 'I've got you under my skin'--this would be my pick!!!!
