it feels so weird seeing my new date but i'm really happy about it....
we completely did a 180 and decided to get married earlier b/c of school and new job situation and we decided to get married here in NORTH CAROLINA instead of Long Island where I grew up and my entire family pretty much lives.
oh well...this way the people who really care enough to travel down here and make my wedding are the people that mean the most anyways. everything is sooo much cheaper down here and i think i may have found my dream location we go to a food tasting on the 24th. hope you guys don't mind if i pop in from time to time on here...i love the ideas i get from all of you!! i wish they had a raleighweddings.com message board you guys are really lucky to have a community like this one.
Congrats on your new place! You have to do what makes you and fh happy. You better not leave the boards

We are doing the same thing. Were getting married in Florida. Everything will probably end up being smaller BUT I do not care.... its the ones who ccome who care most and matter most...
plus, fh said something to me the other day... that when looking through a wedding album you never see the guests, you see the family and close friends....so it opened my eyes a bit!
