We closed!!!

yesterday as scheduled finally!!!!

now the previous owner has to get out by the 21st or she has to pay us $$$. i hope she does i want to be moved in before christmas. ugh. the bedroom furniture is waiting, the carpets are waiting to be delivered. ugh i wanna move in already!!!!

Why does she have to pay you money if she doesn't move out on time- was that in your original contract when you made the offer, or is that just a general rule of practice, or was that something that was determined at closing?

it was in the original contract because she needed to close on our place before she closed on her new place.
