We closed on our house in Westchester yesterday, it's so exciting! So from fellow homebuyers - what are things we should do immediately???

Holy Moly!!! Congrats!!!!! That is Huge!!! Now you get to start thinking about what you are going to do to make it all yours!!! Do you guys live together already??

No not yet! And we won't probably officially move in until after the wedding. It's so surreal that it's ours now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new house!!

Check the plumbing and heat and make sure all the pipes, etc are good.

If you didnt already, have a engineer inspect the house for any stuctural damage or termites.

And then prepare to be poor by buying furniture, etc.

Thanks for the advice!!!! Our wallets are definitely in pain lately!!!!!!! We called for the gas, electric and water today.

Congrats!!! So exciting!! I agree open a bottle of champagne and celebrate!! Then...go and clean everything yourself.

You better believe that's EXACTLY what we will do!!!!!!!!!! We already had some champers last night!

CONGRATS!!! Where in westchester may I ask? FH is from Westchester and I lived there for a number of years, we were looking to buy there esp since we both work in Manhattan. We love Bronxville
