We did the walk through today, and we close tomorrow!

DH and I drove up for our walk-through this afternoon. Our realtor drove us in her car and when we pulled into the driveway there were a bunch of little kids in the street in front of our house. They all said hello and waved to us. It was so cute.

I love the house. The sellers were really nice in that they left lots of cleaning supplies, a lawn mower, a freezer and a bottle of champagne in the fridge! They had the floors redone too since we last saw the house, and they look great.

We close tomorrow at 10 and then I think we are going to head up and begin cleaning and sizing up what we want to do first. Our house is an hour away from where we live now and it's going to be a PITA to get everything ready. We have our apt. in Queens till the end of the month so at least there is no rush.

I'm really excited.

Congrats! I wish our sellers were that gracious! Instead they left us an overflowing septic tank and a rotting roof.
