For those of you that purchased and painted wooden letters for your cake topper and WE DO letters...... Have you sprayed painted or used a brush and paint? If you used a brush and paint, what type of paint did you buy? I want to get this project started tonight.

I used acrylic paint and a brush. The paint was like $1- $2 at Michaels and I got two brushes. One for each color bc I was using white and I didn't want any color bleeding onto it. Check the pics in my album. I have the full WE DO letters in there

Hi I started mine and just used some acrylic paint I bought at michaels. I have read some posts where people spray paint. I guess you could do either HTH

Acrylic will work well. You can also use those spongy brushes for Acrylic on wood, they abosrb a lot of paint and will give them a little texture even with one color. I just found out what they were! I can't wait to make mine now!
