We FINALLY got our license!

Town of Babylon S*CKS! They sent us away because we didn't have TWO pieces of photo ID each!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We had tons of other stuff though, so we raced to Town of Islip & the lady there was so nice!
Yipppee! I can't believe I'm really getting married!!!!

Oh great - Town of Babylon - that's where we were going to go

Other than needing the 2 forms of ID - were they helpful? Did you go to Town Hall? That's right around the corner from me - and I guess I'd still like to go there - unless you tell me it was really awful!!!!!

We got there a few minutes before 4:00, but I called to make sure they were open. The ladies there all had the pocketsbooks on their desks & looked ready to walk out. I said'we're here to get a marriage license, I called' She points to a ditto on the counter & says'do you have two pieces of photo ID each?' I had 2 plus my birth certificate, but Fi just rushed to leave work early so we could do this & he only had 1 picture plus a hundred credit cards & stuff & his divorce papers.
She said 'nope, we can't do it'
I grabbed the ditto & we left, it had Islip's # on it so i called there. When we got to Islip the lady there said TOB turns people away all the time because they don't feel like dealing with it.
I found them usless & b*tchy, but that's me.
If you decide to go there make sure you have AT LEAST 2 pieces of photo ID each & go early
