We finally started on the nursery!

I received my bedding:


and ordered the crib yesterday

in cherry finish

as well as these prints for the wall



We started painting yesterday (Denim Blue 1/3 up the walls) and we're putting up a light blue chair rail next weekend.

I'm excited and wanted to share. It's starting to feel more and more real

I can't wait to see the pics, it sounds great. Those pictures are really nice. I like how you pulled the green out of the bedding for the matting on 2 of the pics.

Started painting this past weekend!

Here's the room as one of our guest rooms


This is now:
looking in from the doorway and towards the far end of the room
(I started the room initially only wanting the back wall all blue, but decided today that I wanted that entire side of the room done in blue to close it up and make it feel a bit cozier)




and from the far end of the room in the opposite direction

We're dividing the room up into two areas. The area that's all blue will be the nursery area with the crib, changing table, glider, a twin snuggler sleeper and a cedar chest

The second half of the room will have a decorative chair rail and will be the 'play' area with a 5 drawer chest, bookcase and toy box

We're thinking of getting this armoire as well
but I'm not sure which side it'll end up on.
