I think we were supposed to be preapproved before we looked but we convinced ourselves we weren't really looking...AH! Til we saw this house and now we're done looking.
I love it I love it and I can't go to bed because I can't stop thinking about it!!!!!!!!!

you definatly should get pre-approved because then 1. you will know what you can spend 2. the seller will take you more seriously. Go for it!! now's the time, while real estate is low!! Good luck!

Where is this house???? The one FH and I looked at on Sunday is in Islip and is our DREAM house. . .but we can't afford the down payment right now. And there are already several offers on it.

Good luck, its so exciting. But if it doesn't work out just know, we made 2 offers before ours. We were so upset when they didn't get accepted. But thank god, the house we got is even better then we imagined. It all works out for the best.

Its a really good feeling.. You really supposed to get pre-approved and then searching so that you don't get too happy and not be able to afford it..
But next thing is to get pre-approved and speak to a realtor about your decision.. Good Luck..

Yeah my mom is a realtor, so thats why I kinda just looked casually and let her know which ones I wanted to see.
Since we weren't really serious about buying before the wedding we didn't bother to get pre approved...but then we saw that house and all of a sudden, it got serious! Hahaha
We put the offer in a few hours ago...we'll see what happens...I need to sell my co-op, they need to find somewhere to go...so its really just a matter of the stars aligning.
This is seriously my Barbie dream house!
