WE FOUND OUR HALL

Well after driving my fi nuts , driving from PA 3 times and dragging ourselves through 9 halls in 3 Weeks we are booking the first place we saw and it seems like we knew it all along, finally at the end of last weekend we looked at all the menu's and what everyone was offering and for us it seems Jericho Terrace has the balance we were looking for, outdoor photo if its beautiful, tons of indoor photo options, and we had a small tasting of the food and my fi was sold, besides the fact that they were the only ones that actually brought us in the kitchen, OMG it was spotless. Now we are going back and I was wondering how you all did with getting things thrown in, neither one of us is good at that sort of thing. How did you get them to give you stuff , is there a trick?

I wish I knew to tell you!!!

We didn't really negotiate, so we had nothing thrown in. If anything we cut a few things off the menu because it was so much food and we were trying to save some money!!

In the end, we saved about $8pp. Not a big deal.

Congrats - it's a good feeling when you find your hall and even better once you book!! Even though you will feel broke afterwards!!

I know , I am usually so level headed but it seems you can just keep spending and spending, I hope these boards will help me stay grounded.

Are you working with Rob Stevenson? That's my BM too!!! He's a nice guy. And he's pretty flexible with what you need. I just keep reminding him that this is the biggest day of our lives and he HAS to make sure we're satisfied. He completely understands. FM me if you have questions.

I am working with Mike Closs. He is awesome. If you know what is a high priority for you and what can be negotiated, that will help you with the 'negotiations'. Some things are a higher priority for me and some things were worth letting go. Good luck!

Congrats- at least you know that you will be happy with your choice! FH and I just ask them if they can do a little better or that we were hoping to keep the cost of something at a certain level- sometimes they say yes, sometimes no. It's not something that we are very good at either! JT is a great place-you'll be happy there!
