We got........

An apartment. We kinda knew about it for awhile but yesterday we went to see it. It is a done deal. We are both excited to live together and start our lives together. It is a two bedroom. It was reality check for the two of us. For me, It is such a bitter sweet feeling. I am happy to be able to move on but extremely sad to leave my home, parents, and dog! I could see when we left my FH was anxious too, I think for similar reasons but also because the numbers (rent, food etc) started going through his head. It's ironic because I went away for 4 years (college) and had my own place and never felt like this. I think I look at this as so final...... I know these are normal feelings but it was such a dose a reality. We will be moving at the end of May, early June. I will post pics when I can. I can't wait to decorate though!

It's in West Hempstead, the nicer side. (Near Garden City and the mansions). It's a cute neighborhood.

Yay Wendi!! so happy to hear that you and Chris finalized the apartment! I know we talked about this, but I have very similar feelings, as I think many of us do. Totally normal! I cannot wait to see pictures and of course come visit!!!

It is scary, but fun... now you get to start a new little family! I actually had no problem moving out LOL but I know lots of people that feel the same way. Its a heady experience...but I agree with you! Decorating is the best!!!

Congrats!!! It is kind of hard to do at first but you will adjust quickly. Trust me you will love having your own place (except for the bills)LOL!! Good luck and have fun decorating!!
