Hey girls, I have to tell you my story. It is so strange, but very true. Back on April 9th, DH woke up that morning, saying he had this dream and seemed to real to be a dream. He had the dream of where your teeth fall out. He said that he remembers learning that 'this' kind of dream represents someone you know will be prego! He called all are friends to far warn them to be carefully if they didn't want to be prego just yet. I didn't think anything of it. I was due for the Period that day, never came. I didn't get worried, because I am always abnormal with my flo. Come Monday April 11th, while at work...a girl was talking about the myth of when you string a ring on thread and place it over a woman's hand or belly, it will determine how many babies and the sex of each will be. So of course all of us being intersted in this, tried it. Well when it was my turn, the string spun out of control and the girl looked at me and goes 'your pregnant!'. I was like 'no', get out of here. Well the next morning I was off and happen to have a pregnancy test in my closet. I was so curious, I had to take it. Well it was true, it showed a BFP for me. I was so excited, had to call DH at work. We did another test that day, just to be sure. I saw my doctor the next day and had a blood test done and yes, that too came back +. So by Thursday we were all so excited and knew we are now 5 weeks prego! But this is where I have begun to get nervous.... Since Friday, I have had spotting... first it was a light pink tinge. On Sat I saw some red blood and on Sunday it has turn to brown. Today just a smear of brown blood. I only notice the blood when I wipe after using the toliet. It is not as if I am bleeding all that much, but it makes me so nervous. I am seeing my Gyno today to see what can be wrong. I truely hope nothing comes of it. I have already started my prenatal pills and have been feeling good. By breast are getting huge and supper sensitive. Another thing I notice, I can't stand the cold... Have to take supper hot showers and need lots of blankets, even when it is warm out. If anyone has any advise, please share. I am so nervous and just cant wait to have my appt. today over with and have an answer.... PS - how do they test you for a M/C??

1st, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
2nd, it sounds like you're going through implantation bleeding, which is COMPLETELY normal around the time AF would have arrived.
I believe you have nothing to worry about. Check with your doctor to rule out everything though...
... and happy 9 months!!!!
PS: It's sooo cute that you have stories to tell your little one when they get older from so early on!

I bled like that too - It was implantation bleeding. I called my dr. just to verify - so should you.... It will put your mind at ease. Good Luck!!!

CONGRATS!!! I have been spotting the same way for 3 weeks now, my Dr. says it is normal. One day I had bright RED blood and that night discharged a huge clot - thought it was a miscarriage. So the next day I called my dr. and he had me come in immediately for an ultrasound. Well....they found I have some bleeding in the uterus so he wants me on bed rest. I still have the baby, with a heartbeat and all, but here is the funny thing --- I have TWINS!!! Last thing I expected to hear -- from 1 to 0 to 2 babies in 12 hours!!
Anyway, I am sure your Dr. will check out everythimng, may have you get anpother blood test to make sure your beta levels are increasing as they should.

Congrats on your BFP and a happy and healthy 9 months to you! Spotting at this stage in PG can be quite normal. But you should definitely keep your OB informed of it.
I have to say though that I've always heard something completely different when you dream about your teeth falling out.

I've had this dream many time before, but this is the first time I am pregnant...

Congrats....there is no specific test for a M/C, they check your beta levels, they are supposed to double every 2 days and if your levels do not or your ultrasound does not measure what your pregnancy is, then the doctors start to suspect something.

Congrats!! How Exciting!!! It sounds like implantation bleeding! Happy Nine Months!
I recently had a dream that I had ONE BIG BUCK TOOTH. I wonder what that means. LOL

Good luck to you. Spotting is nothing to be concerned about, especially if its not brigh tred and heavy. A M/C would have early brown bleeding in some cases, but it would be heavy and not stop. If you go a full day without more then a few spots you really have nothing to worry about. It would get worse, not better, and cramping would start. In all honesty is sounds like normal spotting. Spotting can occur from so many things, from implantation bleeding to a simple slight infection of the cervix ( NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT) ...Even changing toilet paper can irritae the area, cause spotting from the irritation.
I have known woman who spotted heavily for weeks and weeks, and nothing was wrong.
Think positive , it helps. And lay down as much as possible untill your Dr's appointment and insist on a sonogram. I have had a sono as early as 4 weeks, they will do it if your worried!

Congratulations!!!! I am the same way, there are some nights my teeth are chattering when I'm under the covers then some nights I am sweating! One thing I have read is that you should not take super hot showers or go into hot tubs.
