We got a House!!!

I'm sooo glad! FH's place is really tiny. It's perfect for a bachelor living on his own, but having the two of us in such close quarters made me a little nervous. There's literally nowhere to hide. lol. There was no counter space to prepare food, itty bitty bathroom (talk about claustrophobic), barely any closets, and absolutely no privacy from neighbors. Plus it's right across the street from a church and bar - and both are VERY noisy. lol.

So he ended up finding us a house in a really nice neighborhood. 2 bedrooms, huge kitchen & living room, big backyard, etc, etc, etc. The only drawback is that an old lady lived their before us, so you know what that means. Hideous colors. The bedroom and bathroom are literally pea green. Gross. That's the first thing to go. lol. But i'm just sooo happy!! I really didn't like the idea of me moving into 'his' place. I had been wanting us to start out fresh when we got married and move into a place that's 'ours'.

Anyhoo - just thought i'd share my excitement!!! When I get to Co and we begin fixing it up, i'm sure i'll post some pictures.

thanks girls!!! I'm definitely gonna make sure that i take some before and after pictures! I did that at FH's old apartment and now we laugh when we look at how EMPTY it was when he first moved in. It'll be fun to do that with the house (esp our process of ripping out pea green carpets and tearing off the wall paper).

I'm so glad we got that place I don't know how long we'll be in Colorado though, so we don't want to do TOO much work to it, but it'll be at LEAST a year so it's gotta be livable. lol.I do hope we get back to NY soon tho. But in the meantime, it's a great place and I'm glad FH took care of that.
