WE GOT OUR LICENCE!

We went to get our license today and then out to eat. Of course, That made me very late for my dress fitting, so I had to re schedule for tomorrow. FI was so nervous!! There was another couple there, and it was all I could do to not ask them if they were a LI Wedding couple! It's really getting to feel real!!!!!!

Do you get it on the spot? Or do they mail it to you? The county is so slow with everything.

You get it on the spot, but then the officiate and witness signs it on the day of the wedding, and the officiate sends it back to the town hall with in 5 days. The town then sends you a copy within 15 days. Thats the permanent one you can change your name with. They gave us a little newly wed packet with coupons and samples of stuff. It was so cute! I'm such a baby!
